About the legend of Seopjikoji, it is said that in Seojikoji there is a nymph used for taking bath. One day, the last son of the heaven king looked at the nymph and begged to his father in order to arrange the wedding. The king promised to him to do it if he could wait for around 100 days. The nymph did not appear in the 100th days because of waves and the wind. The king said to his son that his dedication was not enough in order to move the heaven. The son was sad and he became a stone that stand still in Seopji Koji.
