Muju located near four provinces that are Chungnam, Chungbuk, Gyeongbuk and also Gyeongnam. Based on its historical and geographical, the area was being the transition place among east and southwest part as the situs for cultural transition. About the climate, it has a mountain climate in which the temperature drastically different from day and night. The average of yearly temperature could reach 10, 8 oC while the highst temperature of this year could reach 35 oC and the lowest is -17 oC.
